Nail Clubbing
No this isn’t another name for bar-hopping (“Club”-ing) — nail clubbing is deformity of both the fingernails and fingers that is closely associated with heart, lung and other diseases.
The old term for clubbing was “Hippocratic Fingers” — named after the ancient Greek grandfather of medicine, Hippocrates, who first noticed the correlation between this type of deformity and internal disease.
